How to use the Deepod when fishing
Attaching to the fishing line when trolling
The Deepod works best when oriented vertically in the water. Add a weight as indicated on the picture to get the right balance.
The side with the three holes should be connected to the fishing rod end and the single hole should be connected to the lure end.
Use the lower hole of the Deepod for the best stability.
Leave 1-2m between the Deepod and the lure.
Turning on Deepod and connecting to WiFi
Turn on the unit by operating the blue power switch.
The unit will automatically try to connect to the WiFi hotspot.
The name of your hotspot and the name displayed by the unit must be the same.
If you have another name you can either change the name of your hotspot or the name in the unit.
The password of your hotspot and the password displayed by the unit must be the same.
If you have another password you can either change the password of your hotspot or the password in the unit.
Start logging
After the unit has been connected to the hotspot successfully you can start the logging simply by selecting the Quick Start function.
Logging will start immediately and you can put it in the water.
